Some of the Best Conversations are at the Supermarket

Some of the Best Conversations are at the Supermarket

I'm in Shoprite and women says to me are you Italian, I say yes and she then asks what's the difference between Prosciutto and Pancetta, I said one has 9 letters the other 8 letters.

Then over at the frozen foods section of the store, a lovely couple as chatty as I am are in looking into the frozen veggie section, she says let us get out of your way, I said that's okay I'm taller and can see over your shoulders. So of course dieting is mentioned.
I go to checkout grab the wrong cart that has nothing but water whos behind me the lovely couple who says I know you are dieting but just water. Oh crap, I run back to find my cart and run back to the line, too funny.

Today made me think of my Dad and he used to get his exercise at the supermarket starting in the bakery - dairy and 19 aisles in between. I do the same thing and sure enough, it's genetic.

Some of your best conversations are at the Supermarket, have a nice chat your next time your out shopping.

Starbucks Hottie

OMG, I've found the right bipolar meds and this buff young man got my attention, got many guys' attention as all the tables had daddies and other gay men wanting to make eye contact.

Starbucks Hottie, unedited.

So what is it with me that not only got eye contact, a smile, and a laugh ... his reply "that's a good one," and my bipolar advantage" I was feeling so good I wanted to have fun, I wanted to write, I wanted what all aging gay men want, first base...batter up!

You know when you order a coffee beverage they ask you your name, well I bought water and a raspberry seltzer water and got on the line to pay and said, "FLIRT ALERT" you aren't going to ask me my name we both smiled.

Life is short if you can't get to first base at least hit the ball and be tagged out and get your ass into a batting cage and practice.

Open Letter to my Social Media Friends

Mental health AWARENESS, it's what I do. PLEASE DON'T STIGMATIZE Mental Illness I don't own a gun and know better thanks to medications and therapy.
I want to thank all of my Facebook friends who take the time to read what I post. Social media isn't very social, especially if you are diagnosed with a mental illness disorder (social anxiety) I'm raising awareness, I'm NOT GUILTING those who don't take the time to at the minimum LIKE, SAD, ANGRY, WOW what I post.
As a former journalist, I know not everyone agrees what you write, but those who take the time to write a letter to the Editor because they disagree had to READ what you wrote to disagree.
Maintaining (3) websites, two on being Bipolar you'd be amazed by the hate emails and sadly stalked It's why I fly the Bulling Logo & text on They are a CRIME.
"Online harassment, sometimes referred to as “cyberharassment,” usually pertains to threatening or harassing emails, instant messages, or website entries. ... Cyberstalking involves using the Internet or other electronic means to stalk a victim, and generally refers to a pattern of threatening or malicious behaviors"
lastly, this is not a cut and paste if email chain email. But feel free to share, thank you.
